Ride to Greyton

This is a lovely ride with some twisty sections over Hells Hoogte Pass and Franschhoek Pass, lovely scenary of the Theewaterskloof dam and some long sweeping roads between the N2 and Greyton. The ride will take about 2 hours depending on the size of the group. There is a small fuel station with one pump in Greyton so allow time for refueling before returning.

  • N1: left onto N1 towards Paarl
  • R304: right onto the R304 towards Stellenbosch
  • Krome Rhee: left into Krome Rhee at robot
  • R44: right onto R44 at T-junction towards Stellenbosch
  • R310: left onto R310 at robot, Hells Hoogte pass
  • R45: right onto R45 towards Franschoek.
  • Through Franschoek and over pass to Villersdorp bridge
  • R43: left onto R43 at T-junction towards Villersdorp
  • R43: right onto R43 just before Villersdorp towards Caledon (N2)
  • N2: left onto N2 at T-junction towards Caledon
  • R406: left onto R406 towards Greyton
